Our organization is a Non profitable Association
We are the Entrepreneurship Center of Amazonia, a hub, or a creative space to people meet and work together, fostering an entrepreneurship chain as a social innovation lab.
Our job is to act as a key actor to articulate the sustainable business ecosystem in Amazon, as well as to catalyze entrepreneurship initiatives for sustainable business by:
(i) innovative education based on experiences laboratories solutions (intersectoral) to fostering the entrepreneurial behavior, leadership training, conflict resolution, search for sustainable solutions and creating positive social value at various levels, including the use of various communication strategies to spread the culture of entrepreneurship and partnerships with already existing institutions working in the area and existent programs
(ii) supporting the creation and management of networks of leaders and entrepreneurs in the region
(iii) partnerships with development agencies and support the creation of incubators and accelerators to boost projects and startups in the region
(iv) support to the formulation of public policies conducive to sustainable businesses and identifying institutional, political and legal weaknesses that makes the system doesn’t run faster
(v) support to public administration for entrepreneurship in the Amazonian municipalities.

Strategy
We operate in a collaboration network with regional institutions (universities, public funding agencies, NGOs, etc.) and at the same time connecting the Amazon with institutions of excellence aimed at entrepreneurship and sustainable business in Brazil and the world.
We articulate and develop programs, projects and activities required for the entrepreneurial ecosystem to develop and act in a consistent and cooperative way.
We provide innovative processes, by encouraging different forms of innovation peer that enhance business collaboratively and that result in real progress and social justice, integrating research & development, entrepreneurship and knowledge of local communities and technologies.

Objectives
Contribute (By strengthening and promoting entrepreneurship) to increase significantly in the Amazon the emergence of sustainable businesses that contribute to reduce deforestation, reduce social inequalities, to promote social progress and development of local communities.

Mission
Support the creation of an environment / entrepreneurship ecosystem and improve knowledge of the resources of the region to promote sustainable development in international Amazon, in order to conserve natural capital (biodiversity, forest cover and assured environmental services) and improve the quality of life in Amazon
Vision
To change the economy in the Amazon - more sustainable, creative and collaborative - transforming the way that the region is inserted into global value chains, improving the socio-economic indicators in the region and valuing environmental services, culture and local and traditional knowledge.

Great Result:
Significant increase of sustainable business in the Amazon economy and development of local value chains that support the reduction of deforestation and promoting a green economy, improving social progress of the region. They should also contribute to the reduction of social inequalities and the development of local communities.

Justification:
The formation of a culture favorable to entrepreneurship and sustainable business, as well as an entrepreneurial education, will create the foundation for a free Amazon of illegal deforestation with a significant improvement of its socioeconomic conditions.

The Center Will act in different levels
The target public is a group of individuals, public, private and social entrepreneurs, key actors to accelerate innovation, to promote improvements in the entrepreneurial ecosystem and develop successful cases. On another level, the Centre will sign partnerships with legitimate and renowned institutions in the area to offer the necessary services and goods and multiply the results. The Centre may raise funds from the public, private sector, NpOs and mixed organizations
