Scribe rocks. Amazing talent, with great character to cap it out. I gave him a particularly tough challenge, and he came up with a briliant original concept that nailed my vision. Hard to imagine someone better to work with, really.

How HEKA Energy started their logo design journey
Baby and Grace
San Francisco-based company specializing in simple, safe, organic baby products. Initial rollout is niche lotions, creams, shampoos, etc. Tag line is "Clean.Safe.Pure". Products and logo meant to appeal to ages 35-45 women. Classic, clean, logo meant to appeal to Saks, Neiman, Nordstrom crowd. Limited, "small batch" product with higher price tag. Packaging in development is 180 degrees different from Johnson & Johnson or Proctor and Gamble-type products. Think Aveda or Origins for kids. Love the work of Michael Schwab http://www.michaelschwab.com and the simplicity of the Forgetful Gentleman website http://www.forgetfulgentleman.com. Winning bid will have opportunity to work on packaging concepts and website design. Would love final design to incorporate color green (to suggest "organic"). Also would like to incorporate San Francisco (in a VERY SUBTLE way).

Audience is middle-upper income to affluent customer. Associates status with niche, hard to find products. Pays for quality and uses the product (as well as appreciates as unique gift). Think german cars, gym member, career-minded, educated women. Children later in life with higher degree of discretionary income. Pays more for niche quality products. Imagine small displays in Nordstrom, Saks, Neimans, etc. 35-45 year old women.
