ALIM needs a new logo

We specialise in builing renovation, carpentry, project management, structural work (ex. load-bearing walls in houses and buildings). ALIM is a small family-run business (8 people). Our clients are 80% local professionals (governmental buildings, offices, architects...) as well as 20% private clients (30-50 something couples and families). Concepts we would like to put forward : Stability, transparency, professionalism. We are looking for a logo with a CLEAN, pure, no-fuss feel. Simple, modern, subtle. Logo must include our company name ("ALIM") as well as the french tagline "Depuis 1999" (meaning" Since 1999").

We are attachinh a palette of colours we like (but use your own judgement), exemples of logos we like (pdf). As well as the current ALIM logo that we would like to improve on. Our main client target : Architect studios (in France). Our current image doesn't quite match architects esthetics. We prefer ABSTRACT pictoral elements or stylized graphics rather than the obvious (hammer, drill, hard hat). Please do not hesitate to ask us any questions regarding the project. Thank you.
