What we do. We invest our own funds in outstanding, innovative, young, Australian technology companies and invite sophisticated investors around the globe to invest on the same terms. We focus on globally scalable businesses positioned to disrupt traditional markets and world class entrepreneurs with extraordinary ideas. We will shortly have a venture capital fund to invest in the same exciting high risk high reward assets. Founder Founding and building Jelix Ventures is the most exciting job I have ever had. I have had some shockers, including pulling rotten tomatoes off a conveyor belt to fund my undergrad degree. And some better ones; selling an innovative climbing tool to fund my climbing career, a debt capital markets lawyer, an investment banker and a board director. But now, I have hit my ‘sweet spot’ in work. I love the rollercoaster ride of building an innovative business that brings exciting opportunities to investors and will have a real impact on the Australian startup sector. Target audience Investors Our investors want to invest in the next Facebook or UBER to make a lot of money AND and be part of something that is exciting and could change the world. BUT they are intelligent, financially sophisticated, careful and understand it is easy to lose your money on startup investments so they want to be comfortable that they can trust the competence and integrity of Jelix. They are: -Bankers, lawyers, successful entrepreneurs from 40 to 60 years old. -Family Offices and institutional investors -from 40 to 60 years old. Key family members may be older. We also need to attract the best entrepreneurs. Extraordinary people who have recently founded an innovative technology startup. They are passionate, committed, overloaded with work and keen to find the right investor whose advice and integrity they trust, who will make the investment process easier, quicker, and who will be able to provide expertise and connections as well as funds to help them grow their business, and someone who they will enjoy working with throughout the duration of the investment.

Possibly touches of yellow and or majenta (as in the buttons on website)
Logo should convey the brand as follows. Conveys quality, professional excellence, trustworthy, solid and reliable, safe pair of hands – dark purple almost black colour - but not as black as the colour of the current logo. Calm/safe pair of hands, reliable- aqua Canva 8efcff . See correct aqua blue band of colour on Jelix Ventures home page https://jelix.vc/ Excitement/ invest in something that might change the world- ochre yellow/orange canva ffb500 . See band of colour on . https://jelix.vc/startups/- this is the correct colour. White There MAY but not likely(?) be some light use of the bright majenta (seen on the website buttons) and or a calm (not sulphur) but vibrant yellow. The existing logo may be close to what I want. The word "Jelix" should look less black and more aubergine but not too purple. The dot above the "i" in "Jelix" might be the ochre colour against an aqua or white background? The second word "Ventures" should not be as prominent as the first word "Jelix". ( eg. See Airtree Ventures logo). Possibly a soft pale grey in smaller letters under "Jelix"? No need for stock images for logo or business card please.
