Story to tell in the infographic
How a donor donates within our app, and how the money flows from the donor to the political campaigns
Data to include in the infographic
Images of our app (the donation widget, attached to this project), and images of the flow of funds from donors to campaigns. Minimal (but necessary) text (see pdf attached), clean, white simple design. We don't love the current infographic (see PDF attached), plus it doesn't have the complete picture (just the half of the donation, without the second part of the money flow between the donor and the campaigns). Terms to use within the infographic: Giver (instead of donor), Campaign (the receiving party), and ActiveGiver.
Elements to include in the infographic
The first part would be how a donor interacts with our donation widget (see attached infographic). The second part is how money flows from the donor to the political campaigns. The way this works is that once a donor completes the transaction within our donation widget, money flows directly from their bank account to the political campaigns directly, without going through Activegiver or any other entity for that matter. So $ flow directly from donor to the campaigns that are in the donation widget. For example: if a donor is giving $20 to a cause that has 5 campaigns, there will be 6 transactions directly from the donor to the 5 campaigns (each for $4), and another transaction from the donor to ActiveGiver for $1 (our fees). The infographic has to reflect that, right under the section where it shows a donor using our donation widget (the PDF attached to this project).
The attached is just part of the process (how a donor gives to a cause). We need the infographic to include the second part, which is how money flows from the donor to the campaigns (see details above).
We are looking for this to be a one page (A4 size) and be both a PDF, on our website, and printable to take to tradeshows.
