National Park Foundation
To celebrate this year’s National Park Week, April 18-26, 2016, the National Park Foundation wants to create an infographic that captures the spirit of the Centennial #FindYourPark campaign.
The purpose of this infographic is to visually represent the importance of our national parks and to encourage awareness, visitation and ultimately, support.
To provide an interactive experience for our audience, we want to “create your own adventure” flow-chart infographic that helps viewers find a park based on their interests. For example, music-loving BFFs could reconnect for a bonding trip at New Orleans Jazz National Historical Park. However, we also want this infographic to convey that parks can be utilized by more than one type of person and in many different ways. For example, a family could also travel to New Orleans Jazz Historical park for a vacation in the "concrete jungle."
This infographic would be a smaller, visual representation of the Experiences section of findyourpark.com. As such, our call-to-action on the infographic encourages viewers to find even more parks on the website.
See attached files for content and rough layout.
- A "choose your own adventure style" flow chart.
- Include graphical representations of each National Park
- 9 sections that contain the park info included in the attached doc.
Ideally, we'd be able to splinter this infographic in to separate "mini" flow charts (based on the 3 main categories) for posting on social media. Copy for this infographic is not in its final form and may be changed later on. If you're unsure about a specific section of text, just create a placeholder.
