LostWallet is going to be an online resource that provides free tools and advice to help replace the contents of your lost or stolen wallet or purse quickly, and save you some cash along the way with special deals on bank cards and credit cards.
The concept started when I lost my wallet and was not sure of what steps to take. I searched online only to find limited information was available. I want this to be the go to website for people who have lost their wallet in Australia.
I want the website to be clean and modern looking but with a young and enthusiastic feeling to it. A key part of the website will be getting users to cancel their existing credit cards and bank cards and sign up new cards with interest free periods and better interest rates.
Primary audience: Generation Y - because their busy lifestyle leads to them being the most likely to lose items such as their wallet. They are also more likely to search online to find a solution when they do lose their wallet.
The recent global financial crisis has also encouraged them to save and seek out better deals.
It should be noted that even though we are targeting Generation Y we still want to come across as professional due to the nature of the service we offering. We want the website to be broadly appealing.
