The site will break down into sections and stages; I'm not sure how to represent that. Sections include areas for women and men to post articles and network w/ one another, areas for men and women to network w/ one another for community, advice, and maybe date (ex: a man might want to ask a woman why their ex is behaving a certain way), children, finance/law, and dating.
Stages include miserable and not sure what to do, decided to split, split and divorcing (whether still living together or not), and divorced/moving on.
The site must allow:
* Staff bloggers to post articles
* Guest bloggers to post articles that can be reviewed
* Community interaction features, esp including bulletin-boards
* Polls would be great
* Navigation that follows the nav requirements for people and stages above; the primary focus should be on the people
The look and feel should pull people into the community; to make them part of the community. It should feel friendly and warm; not cheerful but definitely not gloomy or sterile or like a business or law firm site. Please try to use bold colors; I don't like pastels or washed-out colors.
Most features will be text-based; there may eventually be videos but it's unlikely that we'll have lots of photos, except for photos of the writers.
Try something different. I went w/ 99designs to find something that doesn't look like a dull WordPress blog. Coders say to deliver layered PSD files.
