Summary: We provide Inventory Management Software for E-commerce Sellers Vision: To bring automation, artificial intelligence and gamification to E-commerce selling What is sku.io? sku.io is a Multichannel inventory management system designed to automate and streamline Order Fulfillment, Purchasing, Publishing Listings, Sourcing, and Decision Making for E-commerce Sellers. Target audience: - Intelligent - Sharp - Capable - Male or Female probably in 30 or 40s - $1M plus sales in their company - Experienced with E-commerce - Prides themselves on efficiency - Minimalist This software will cost users $1,000+ per month to use. Customers will have a huge investment and commitment because they will rely on our software to basically run their E-commerce business.

Important: Please read these instructions carefully as many submissions I feel are not reading this brief. Required font for text: Roboto Text "sku" is the main place for attention. For that reason: - "S" icon must not take too much attention away from the word "sku" - The perfect balance between the text and logo is best exemplified in submission #104 IMPORTANT: To evaluate the logos consistently, please just make the text the same as #104. I am already decided on the text. I don't want any variations of it for the purpose of the contest. And please pay attention to the size of the "S" icon in relation to the rest of the text in #104. This will help you also realize how the "S" icon needs to be simple enough to be small. It should also look great as a Favorite icon in the browser. Also, minimize whitespace around the logo so that the thumbnail shows as much of the logo as possible instead of something that someone has to click on to see (I'm going to be running a poll amongst colleagues when picking the finalists and want them to see each logo look consistent from the thumbnails) Based on the target audience, price point, and role of the software... Logo must reflect a "trusted", "reliable", and "robust" product. Logo cannot be complex Logo cannot be abstract Logo has to communicate our brand message Top competitor: Stitch Labs (although I don't feel they have a "wow" logo, but it is definitely good) Logo has to be simple enough to make the User feel that this software is a tech leader, similar to brands such as: Slack, Asana, Amazon, Google Web site that don't have a logo that reflect the brand, but the web site does: Monday.com, Gusto, Confluence (backend portion of it) The main portion of creativity in this logo design is with the "S" icon. I want the "S" to be not overly complicated, but clean, sleek, and communicating the brand message. The "S" cannot mean be pointless. One of the core values of the audience is "efficiency". So if the "S" means nothing, that is wasted space and conflicts with the audience. The software integrate many different parts of the E-commerce world. It connects with many sales channels: eBay, Amazon, Walmart, Jet etc. It connects with many shipping providers: USPS, Fedex, UPS, etc. It connects with many 3rd party logistics companies. It basically is a hub to manage E-commerce operations that has connections with 100 other companies. Some words that help describe this are: "connectedness" "integration" "linking" The "S" icon should somehow reflect this. But don't go too complex in communicating this. It should be clean, simple, subtle. Current web site mockup: http://ord.mindset3.com/mockup/index.php Words to describe product: - Progressive - Tech - Innovative - Automated - State-of-the-art - Clean The most common negative comments I'm giving to designers: - "S" icon does not look enough like an "S" - "S" icon is too complicated - "S" icon is too abstract - "S" icon is not representing "connectedness", "integration", and "linkage" - "Inventory Optimized" is too hard to read - "SKU.IO" is capitalized and it shouldn't be - "i" and "o" are not being highligted on "inventory optimized" in order to have the connection between "inventory optimized" and "io" - If "i" and "o" are highlighted, they are a little bit hard to read on either light or dark or both backgrounds - "sku" is not being emphasized in comparison to ".io" - More than 1 secondary color is being used For production (not contest), I need: - A dark background version and a light background version. - Icon only, Icon + Name, Icon + Name + Slogan, Versions with Icon on top
