Mad Science Media is a Photography and Film company. We are creative camera people. We specialize in Real Estate Photography and Video, Music Video and Short Film Production, Commercial Photography and Video, Glamour and Fashion Photography, Event Photography, Weddings, Portraits, etc. etc. Basically, we like to have fun with cameras!

There is a specific form we want our logo based around called the "Vesica Piscis". The key concept which this form represents is "duality". Google has lots of info on it if you want to familiarize. The form is created by first drawing a circle around a center point, then moving the center point to the circles edge, and drawing another circle around that point. This creates two overlapping circles which produce a new shape where they overlap. In the case of our logo, this two circle shape should then be enclosed in another circle to complete the form (see attached pictures #7 & #8). Maintaining the proper ratios of the form is important to us, and the Vesica Piscis is the basic skeleton that we are looking for in the logo, but we encourage experimentation and artistry, just as long as the Vesica Piscis is represented in there somewhere in some way. In designing the logo, and the rest of the brand for that matter-business cards, letterheads and envelope, facebook cover, etc.-we would like to see some of the following elements/ideas included in the underlying themes of the brand; In order of importance/relevance to the brand 1. Electricity 2. Geometrics / Mathematics / Grids 3. Fractal Structure* 4. Outer Space / Stars / Galaxies 5. Spirals / Yin Yang *When we say Fractal, this means smaller (and/or larger) divisions of the same structure embedded within itself. To us, all of these 5 concepts tie together in a sense. If you can see the unity between them, you are seeing what our brand should look like. It is not neccessary to include all of these elements (but if you can, go for it!), we are just trying to give you a window into our mind. It more depends on how it is arranged and presented, and so we would like to express that our brand should be "impactful" and perhaps even grandiose in its delivery, so keep that in mind along with these design elements. As the name itself "Mad Science" implies that we are "a little crazy", and apart from the norm, so too should the brand be designed apart from the norm, and impactful in its uniqeness. Some final key points; - We will need versions of the logo which can be displayed on either a black or a white background -We will need a small watermark to tag our photos and videos with -The business cards should be two sided And that's about all, folks! If you do web design work, there may also be the opportunity to partner up with us in creating our website, but we will cross these bridges when we come to them. First things first..
