Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
We are a traditional United Methodist Church in Amory, MS, a small town in NE Mississippi. We are seeking a design that reflects a renewed emphasis on outreach to unchurched families in our area. Our target audience is 20-40 year old families. A logo that captures our 125 year tradition with a modern contemporary look is what we are seeking. The name of our church is "First United Methodist Church", but we are wanting to brand the name "Amory First" because we want people to understand we put Amory first and we want to be the "first" church people think of in Amory.

We would like a few logo options that feature the "t" in first as a cross, but not in all the logos. We want to communicate that we are a family friendly church and not a church full of old people. Our best days are ahead of us and not behind us. We would like some logo options that feature our slogan as well as some that feature our denominational affiliation with the United Methodist Church. No cross and flame logo! Maybe incorporate the phrase "A United Methodist Church" beneath the name "Amory First".
