johndh got their new logo & brand identity pack by running a design contest:
Climate Resilience Fund
Check out johndh's Logo & brand identity pack contest…
The Climate Resilience Fund is a philanthropic collaborative that strives to advance a positive vision of a climate resilient society and works to mobilize the resources for achieving it. We are committed to supporting the development and implementation of knowledge and resources to help steer society in a new direction – one where healthy communities, ecosystems, and sustainable economies coexist and thrive in the context of a changing climate. CRF operates with a small leadership team with long experience working at the intersection of climate change, conservation, urban sustainability, and with the federal government agencies tasked with addressing the climate crisis. CRF is guided by an advisory board comprised of partner and investor representatives and experts in the fields of climate adaptation, resilience, and philanthropy. CRF supports nonprofit and academic institutions whose activities and focus aligns with our mission. In addition to the foundation (philanthropic) community, our other primary market is these institutions. All of these organizations, in philanthropy and the nonprofit or academic spheres, are grounded in environmental, community, and sustainability -related principles which guide their work.
Other color requirements
Some blue would be ideal. gray is OK. Green too... all three...? maybe.
Climate Resilience Fund Logo should feature a simple image or graphic along with the letters (CRF) or full name of the Fund. Of interest are images that suggest resilience or adaptive capacity (the innate ability to adjust to new circumstances), key concepts in our work. Animal images that might work include: Octopus (tough, smart, resilient, resourceful) Darwins Finch (the bird that inspired the very concept of adaptation through natural selection) Dragonfly (tough, skillful, very adaptive, multifaceted life-cycle) Children...? We don’t have to have an animal. Something that suggests water, ocean or coast, city and forest in the same circular design comes to mind. This may be too conventional, but I like the idea of communicating that we work on resilience in all geographies and contexts. Also, we are promoting a holistic form of adaptation that is inclusive of people and nature… having a human element in the design along with a “nature” element(s) could be interesting.
