T.J. Rogers's use of retro science fiction in this cover was a bit hit, with lots of colour co-ordination along a green-blue theme. The alien positioned in front of the time tunnel machine was designed to look weird, eye-catching, and irresistible. The cool, sleek title jived in well with a futuristic, modern theme for this book.
How rabbiissamar started their book cover journey

this is a book about the Ark of the covenant. it is a easy to read yet scholarly work on the holiest site in Judaism, the temple mount, and the Ark of the Covenant... describing why many theories of where the ark is today are wrong and really it may really lay.
What inspires you and how do you envision the design for your business?
Attached is a design someone made me which has nice elements, but is not as crisp and professional as I would like. The font and style for "the ark report" should remain the same, and the authors name should be near the top.
I would like a book that will pull and be attractive to audiences ranging from Jewish and Christian to scholarly... this is not a book about teh end of times, it is not scary, and it is not a doomsday book. It is a book about a better future and a world with no war and peace and prosperity for all... and about the Jewish claim to the temple mount, and the eternal bond between the Jewish people and God.
i have also attached a bit of a draft introduction to the book so you jhave an idea of what it is about that will be helpful to you as you use your imagination and knoweledge of graphic design to make a COMPELLING cover.... looking forward to seing your amazing work, 99designers!
