What's your vision?
Book cover (6x9, 186 pages). The book is titled "Fair Forgiveness: Finding the Power to Forgive Where You Least Expect It." The book takes Christian victims along a nine station gospel-rich journey toward an experience of real justice. In the early pages the reader officially becomes the Plaintiff in a trial called specifically for the crimes committed against them. In the early six stations, the Plaintiff is led through applicable due diligence in preparation for their trial. At last in station 7, they are the plaintiff of great honor sitting in a imaginary liturgical courtroom before the Judge (God Himself) as He considers their case. The idea is that once the Plaintiff experiences a liturgical trial by faith, they are free to actually forgive. The book mirrors a scientifically verified forgiveness intervention (The Forgiveness Labyrinth) that has enjoyed great measurable results. "Plaintiff, you haven't been able to forgive because you haven't had your day in court yet." Themes for the design could include trial, courtroom, justice, fairness, nine-station journey, Bible, gospel. The book will have Title and subtitle on the first page along with two quotes at the bottom. The back cover will have text on the top 3/4. On the bottom will be a box for the author's pic and bio. The book will be self-published through Createspace. The book edge will have the main title (Fair Forgiveness) and the author's name Dr. Bill Senyard.
Fair Forgiveness: Finding the power to forgive where you least expect it A very unique Book based upon an actual successful scientifically validated forgiveness intervention, the Forgiveness Labyrinth. The premise of the physical Labyrinth is this: real experiential forgiveness is impossible apart from an experience of real justice first. Too many deeply hurt people have been encouraged to give up fair for some forgiveness: just choose to forgive. While some victims are to some degree helped by this approach, many are still languishing in their unresolved injustice. Why are typical results so unimpressive? We are made in God’s image and God never forgives a single crime until there is a trial and there has been objective and perfect justice. Victims cannot forgive the crimes committed against them because they haven’t had their day in court yet. Fair Forgiveness leads the reader through nine stations where they will begin to experience real justice for the crime committed against them. The seventh station is an actual trial where God is the judge and they are the honored plaintiff. The earlier stations guide the reader through the due diligence trial prep. Trial prep documents are included. To access such a justice, a fair and legal resolution requires faith, a power that comes from God that can be accessed now. That’s the point of the subtitle. Victims tend to think that if forgiveness is to happen, it is all on them. They must choose to forgive. They must give up their right to justice. They must give up “fair.” That’s what Jesus would do, they are told. Fair Forgiveness proposes that they can by faith access the justice of God now. It is a part of the many present benefits that Jesus purchased for them on the Cross. The book offers an experiential step-by-step approach to accomplish that goal. This is the only popular book on forgiveness that emphasizes the victim’s need for justice, a trial, before they can forgive. As far as I know, this is also the only popular book based upon an actual scientifically-validated physical forgiveness intervention. Key thoughts? God never forgives until there is legal justice (i.e., the Cross) All humanity are invested with great worth and value and so every crime is huge, beyond the capacity of the perpetrator or even the human judicial institutions to really pay back. God offers a trial for every crime committed. He brings consolation: justice and restitution. Key target reader? Christians who have been deeply hurt by some crime that they can’t forgive. Other thoughts? Don’t confuse labyrinth with maze. Mazes are confusing, choices must be constantly made. Labyrinths are unicursal, they are winding single paths, safe places where the traveler cannot get lost and so may focus on the task at hand.

Responsive, intuitive, excellent to work with. I'm so grateful for Poppins work on my book cover. Right from the first concept, she seemed to "get" this project and was relentless in getting the design exactly right. A pleasure to work with throughout. I can't highly recommend her enough. Thank you!
Along the way, they met lots of talented designers…
