Sellis got their new book cover by running a design contest:
Create a Booklet for a Religious Seminar!!
Check out Sellis's Book cover contest…
We are a Christian based religious organization that conducts evangelistic seminars to both Christian and non christian groups.
What's your vision?
Design for the front cover and back cover of a work booklet. General The work is to fit an 8.5x11 sheet. The overall design must be energizing and use styles and colours that will engage our target market of men and women 30 to 44 yrs. The booklet MUST be designed to appeal to individuals that are not Christian. So please do not use any traditional religious symbols (The cross, doves, devil, etc.). Feel free to use your own design concepts but we have provided a couple of mock-ups for initial direction. Front cover: The title of the Cover is "What has Jesus Ever Done for Me!?" We want to use the theme of a woman that looks skeptical. The concept in our mockup uses a frustrated young woman using a Cell phone with each text bubble representing her skeptical response to her friend (text to be inserted is included in the "Front cover"mockup file). The idea is that the friend responds back in a single text bubble "Come &* find out). The Back Cover: We want to provide an overview of the sermon series in a way that will engage the reader. The mock up contains a road map with signs along the way showing sermon titles. The road ends at a "happy place". The road should be "traveled" by one or two individuals looking at the road sign of sermon titles (text for titles are included in the "Back cover" mockup file). Not all the sermon titles have to be used. There must be blank space left on the back cover to include a location map and the corporate logo. Again feel free to use your own design concept. The mockups are ONLY examples. Change colurs, designs etc. if you wish. However, it must contain our core requirements: Appealing to our target market 30-44, no religious symbols, room on the back for company logo and Map.
The winner of this contest will be hired to design the inside pages of the booklet.
Every design category has flexible pricing for all budgets. Book cover starts at NOK 2,599.
