This is a Christian Suspense novel that's very character driven. it's not as much high paced as it is a look at a serial killer's actions and the progression that led to that action.
I have attached a cover information sheet as well as the first chapter of the book.
I kind of have an image in my mind, which I'll explain, but I don't want you to think it has to be this...
The bulk of the story takes place in a forest cabin (nice cabin). So I was seeing a faded image of tall trees, maybe with a path through the trees, making up the background of the cover. Then the title in big block letters, maybe a charcoal grey with the silhouette of a praying woman seen only in the letters.
It also might be cool to have a long, narrow, winding road extend through a forest from the back cover around to the front.
But again, I'm not a designer nor a suspense writer, so I'm hoping for creative ideas.

This text should go on the back cover:

A grieving woman is abducted by a racing star turned serial killer—and it may be the answer to her prayers.

Ruth Warner defies logic and her husband when, at her pastor’s prodding, she insists on praying for Harry Silver, the man who brutally raped and murdered her niece. But soon Ruth finds herself center stage as Silver’s next victim at a kidnapping-gone-wrong.
Could it be coincidence? Or was it a divine appointment?
As Ruth’s prayers persist, Harry rages that his crimes prove God powerless, or worse, uninterested in looking after those He calls His own...let alone someone like Harry.
Can Ruth’s faith sustain her to the end—whatever the cost?
