ReadShare is an audiobook creator app. We are enabling people to create their own audiobooks for themselves and for sharing.
What's your vision?
We need a company logo and an iPhone app design for our existing app screens. Specifically we need: - Company/App logo - App Icon - Splash Screen - A Set of Themed skins for the pages of the app (in PDF). - Alternate state for buttons when they're clicked. - Files should be Photoshop PSD with layers. More Info: Our initial demographic is children but our brand is not only for children, so the logo and app design should not be childish. However, they can be playful and happy. The logo could have an element of books and/or audio. Ideally, the logo would be a symbol for the two words "read" and "share". The logo will also be used on the website and marketing material. This will be the symbol of the company. Our app is easy to use and straightforward. The design should compliment that and not clutter it. I am including existing screenshot. We are looking for a "skinning" of the existing screens. Graphical elements should be reusable and the app should have an overall theme. If you thinking moving buttons would improve the look and feel, I'm open to suggestions. There are only a few screens- the PDF includes several extra slides showing alternate states for buttons, keyboard, photo selector. The app is always in landscape mode, except when it goes to photo library. Notes on how the app works: A user creates a new book recording. They give it a title. Then create one page at a time. For each page, they can select or take a photo to use for the background. Then they can record themselves reading the book. After all pages have been added and they save, they can click play to listen to their audiobook. Each page photo displays while the audio plays and the page turns when the next page recording starts. That's it.
I have had some questions about any color scheme preferences I have. The answer is no particular colors but the theme should not be too dark- actually it should be lighter, fun, almost cartoonish, but not baby-ish. It should appeal to kids or adults. Maybe make adults feel a little bit like a kid, but it should still be clean and professional looking. Feel free to be creative with these guidelines. If it helps, I like the ocean and sunsets. My AIM ID is jacksondorado if you have any questions for want to reach out.
